Easy Embroidery

It’s the trend that can be worn in a million different ways by everyone and anyone. It’s pretty, classic and can be taken from day to eve with just the addition of a more exaggerated sleeve. It is indeed embroidery.

I adore it for the understated statements you can make. You may not feel that you have tried particularly hard in choosing what you wear, but slip into anything embroidered and prepare for compliments from fellow fashionistas coveting your closet.

On a slow Sunday, I chose to wear my embroidered skirt with a pop of colour and a must-have bell sleeve sweater.

Minimal styling keeps the elegant embroidered details and colour combinations strong.

My skirt is from a shop I usually dread going into… New Look, however, I can’t fault this minis style or fit, for once I have gone down a size! (I may just have to start shopping here again.)

Bell sleeves work for the day but really come to life in the evening.

A classic black bag (Coach), minimalistic gold jewellery (Mothers)  and simple ballet shoes (Hobbs)  keep this outfit versatile and feminine.

Next, on my to-do list, find a new hairstyle. It’s a hard one I know. The most daring hairstyle I have ever sported is a full fringe, oh and red highlights that no one took the time to tell me looked horrendous!

I could do with all the help I can get, any suggestions for good hairdressers in London?
